Experiment After I graduated in 1996 from The Royal Academy of Arts in Copenhagen. Right after I made this stackable free swinger chair. A one piece chair in molded plywood. Multiple veneer layers were glued together through heat and pressured in a pressing tool. The veneer layers were arranged crosswise at an angle of 90 degrees. The chair were inspired by the roots from several danish architects such as Gunnar Aagard Andersen, Poul Kjærholm, Verner Panton and my mentor Erik Krogh. The chair also refer to Gerrit rietvelds (zigzag chair), Mart Stam and Mies van der Rohe who were the architects behind the free swinger chairs from the Bauhaus era.
